A woman who set herself ablaze in central Nelson 10 days ago has died in Hutt Hospital.
A passerby dragged the 39-year-old woman into the nearby Maitai River after he saw her pouring a liquid over herself and setting it alight.
But she suffered severe burns and was flown to the special burns unit at Hutt Hospital.
