Combined support for Labour and the Greens has overtaken National rating as Parliament debates controversial spying law changes, the latest Roy Morgan poll shows.
The poll showed that support for National has fallen 7 percentage points since July to 44 percent. Labour's support increased by 5 percentage points to 34 per cent.
The Greens' share of the vote jumped 4 per cent to 14 per cent - the party's highest level since August 2012 - which meant that if an election were held tomorrow, a Labour-Greens coalition would win.
