Teams were invited to dress up for the occasion. About 450 players competed in year 5 and 6 grades. A year 7 and 8 tournament will be held tomorrow.
The year 5 grade was split into two sections. The seven-a-side was won by a Fairfield Primary School team and a six-a-side section was won by Rosebank Primary School, from Balclutha.
The year 6 grade was won by Wanaka Primary School.
