The Tapanui rugby side lines up for a game in the 1920 season.

The Tapanui club first started in 1878 and marked its centennial with celebrations.

Festivities were also held for its 125th anniversary in 2003.

The club no longer fields a senior side, with Heriot fielding a team from the area in the South Otago competition.
