A Balclutha house was "severely damaged" in a house fire last night.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman said a house in Cromer St, Balclutha, was "well alight" when two crews from Balclutha and one from Kaitangata arrived about 7.30pm. The fire was extinguished by 9.30pm.
The house had been "severely damaged" and a fire investigator would attend the scene this morning. — APL
