A police spokeswoman said they were called to the address in Balaclava at 10.52am yesterday.
Police had spoken to someone at the address, but no arrests were made.
There were also no reports of injuries, the spokeswoman said.
Officers carrying weapons were seen in Sydney and Lancefield Sts.
