![]() | PETRA LEONARD: Petra has been dancing since she was four years old at the Dunedin School of Ballet and dance with Miss Robyn Sinclair, and studies singing with Gladys Hope. She has recently performed as a singer/dancer in the productions of High School Musical, Dusty, Miss Saigon and the Evening with the Stars, Music of the Knight and Allo' Allo'. Theatre Restaurants. Recently she performed at the re-opening of the Regent Theatre, and is currently studying at The Dunedin College of Education as a primary school teacher, and is teaching ballet, jazz and hip hop at the Dunedin School of Ballet and Dance. | ||

![]() | BRIANA HEFFERNAN: Briana began dancing at the age of 4 with the Judith Fuge Dance School, attending weekly ballet classes, from there she moved into other styles of dance and developed a love for Jazz. Her school offered a lot of performance opportunities including bi-annual concerts, one Jazz/Ballet the other Tap/ Hip-Hop. She began participating in competitions around the Wellington region, Christchurch and Palmerston North. ![]() | EMMA HOLLOWAY: Emma started dancing in Sydney at a young age, training in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. Her professional dancing career began at the age of 17 with specialist shows for the Radisson Hotel Group and latterly contracted with Samsung, in a corporate tour of India. Emma spent 18 months working on multiple contracts performing Cabaret Shows in Taiwan. Back in Sydney she toured NSW, dancing in “Grease Live” a tribute show to the musical. Since being in NZ Emma has performed with Stage Struck Productions in the North Island and has been teaching dance in Dunedin. | ||

![]() | XZENIA WITEHIRA: Xzenia has danced for just over 21 years and is trained in Ballet and American Modern Jazz. She has choreographed and performed with NZ representative hip hop crews ‘NuZtylez’ and ‘Kaladyscope’ in both National/International competitions. She danced as opening acts for Moreko, Misfits of Science, Fast Crew, Dei Hamo, Nesian Mystic and Scribe and onset music videos for Recloose, Tyna, Mr Boinkin, The Kurnel MC, Mika and Mirrah. Xzenia has enjoyed cheerleading for the Auckland Blues, NZ Breakers, Otago Highlanders and the Otago Nuggets over the past 6 years and in 2008 awarded “NZ’s cheerleader of the year”. She has danced at numerous shows, battles, charitable and sporting events, taught and held workshops at schools in NZ and Australia and been a celebrity guest performer on children’s TV programmes. | ||

![]() | ELIZABETH ADAMS: Elizabeth Adams has been performing for over 20 years with experience in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and a little Tap. She has performed in numerous productions for Musical Theatre Dunedin and Taieri Operatic. Favourite roles include Velma Kelly in Chicago, Sandy in Grease, and Demeter in Cats. While currently working at Bayfield High School teaching te reo Maori, Drama and Dance, she also runs her own dance school L.A. Danse Centre, and learns singing with Gladys Hope. She has worked as a choreographer for events such as the Remarkables Christmas Concert in Queenstown. Elizabeth would like to thank her family and partner Glen for all their amazing support. | ||

![]() | SOPHIA COLLINS: Sophia has been dancing since age 5, with thirteen years formal ballet training. In this time she completed R.A.D exams (up to advanced two level) and also won numerous competitions and scholarships to further her dance ability. She is also trained in jazz, hip hop and house dance. Sophia currently runs the group fitness department at Les Mills Dunedin, which she loves as it encompasses her passion for dance, performance and improving the lives of others. Sophia is extremely excited to be involved in “The Big Night in”. | ||

![]() | LILIAN PANG: Lilian has been dancing for the last seventeen years and is technically trained in Ballet, Contemporary, American Jazz and Hip Hop. Lillian has had the opportunity to perform withthe Royal New Zealand Ballet and for national Rugby matches and Basketball games including the NZI Sevens events, British Lions Tour, Super 15 Rugby and the National Basketball League (representing the Highlanders and Oceana Gold Nuggets respectively). I have had exceptional dance training, namely from Paula Hunt in Wellington, and have also directed and danced in a number of performances for the University of Otago, Samuel Marsden Collegiate School and the New Zealand Chinese Association. | ||

![]() | KRISTIE LEONARD: Kristie started Ballet when at 5 years of age, in Balclutha and later became involved in Modern Jazz. She started dance competitions at 7 and quickly loved the competitive side of it. She has competed all around New Zealand, including The National Young Performer of the Year Awards in 2005 and 2007 where she travelled to Tauranga to compete alongside 50 other Jazz and Contemporary dancers. Kristie was involved in the 2010 Meridian flash mob and has danced in many community events around Otago. Most recently she was one of the 2011 Nuggets Basketball cheerleaders, performing at the Eager Centre. | ||
