A 4WD that was reported as overdue has been found by Alexandra police and Central Otago Land SAR members.
The vehicle was found early this morning near Christies hut in the Kopuwai reserve, after becoming stuck on an extended off road adventure, police said.
Neither of the two occupants were injured.
Police have reminded 4WD adventurers to carry recovery and communications equipment.
