Council to analyse plan's financial effect

The Central Otago District Council is to explore the financial upshot of options within the Cromwell Master Plan before the report is released to the public.

It was expected the document would be signed off at Tuesday's Cromwell Community Board meeting.

However, board chairman Neil Gillespie said there was no point signing off the master plan if the board did not have all the information needed for a complete picture.

Council staff will give an update at the next community board meeting on May 29.
