Siblings claim national title

Siblings Ben Smith and Jessica Michels won the New Zealand Mixed Doubles Competition after a very intense final against Ruby Kinney and Hunter Walker at Naseby on Sunday.

Eight teams competed at the Maniototo Adventure Park last week to represent New Zealand at the 2027 World Championship in Finland in January.

After Smith and Michels won their pool game against Kinney and Walker, they went into the final with one win from a best of three under their belt.

It was the winning pair’s fourth title.
