Year 7 boys and girls sprint away from outside the Cromwell Swim Centre yesterday as part of the Central Otago Primary Schools Triathlon.
More than 700 young athletes from 21 schools throughout the Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes districts crowded outside the Cromwell Swim Centre for the event.
The star competitors qualified for the Otago championships, which will be held in Cromwell next Wednesday.
