State Highway 87 has fully reopened as a vegetation fire south of Kyeburn is brought under control.
The fire closed the route between the intersections of Kokonga Rd and Railway Rd at Kokonga for nearly two hours.
Fire and Emergency NZ were called to the blaze shortly after 12.30pm.
NZTA Waka Kotahi advised road users delays could remain as congestion eases in the area.
