Felix Lai
Felix Chee Lai (23), of Boston, in the United States, died in Dunedin Hospital last Tuesday, following the November 1 crash.
Police confirmed his name yesterday. His friend and passenger Spencer Dow, also 23 and also from Boston, died at the scene.
Inquiries into the cause of the State Highway 6 crash are ongoing.
The Otago Daily Times understands the car was passing a truck when the collision occurred.
It was the second fatal crash involving a car and tourist bus in the area in just over two weeks.
