LAST month was the second-driest July on record in Queenstown going back to 1881, and were it not for snowmaking, both the resorts skifields wouldn’t be open by now. Despite that, NZSki boss Paul Anderson says high-quality skiing on main runs at The Remarkables and Coronet Peak have been maintained.
