Taylor Clark.
Taylor Clark has entered many marathons and triathlons over the past few years but this will be the first time he has entered the Christchurch event.
He entered the Balclutha half marathon last year.
He was fastest local competitor and fourth overall in the open men's' section in last year's Balclutha race, in a time of 1hr 21min, in bad weather.
Aiming to beat that time in Christchurch, he has been training since January, doing 1km sprints and hill runs.
