Brewery trust secretary Mel Foster said visitor numbers had been ''on par'' with last season, aided by new history tours on opening Saturdays this year.
This Saturday would be the last chance to join the free tour of the 135-year-old heritage site - led by volunteer guides Barbara Kerr and Stephen Roe - before the attraction closed for the season on Sunday.
Although the weather had been ''mixed'' this year, that had made for picturesque backdrops for photographers, Mrs Foster said.
''They're quite late this year, but that means they're looking spectacular for their final weekend. It's 'last chance to see' time.''
