The Catlins Area School pupil Logan Bird, as William Shakespeare, contemplated some insults yesterday during a dress rehearsal of the school's middle and senior school theatre production Shakespeare Rocks!
Senior school teacher Moira Spicer said a cast and crew of more than 40 pupils were involved in the fast-paced show detailing many of Shakespeare's classics.
Written by Steve Titford, the show plays homage to the great Bard and takes a "considerable dollop of poetic licence''.
The show opened last night and plays tonight at the Owaka Memorial Centre.
