Two people are seriously injured after a car rolled near Gore this evening.
A St John spokesman said a man and a woman were injured, one seriously and the other critical.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene at Diamond Peak Rd along with two helicopters from Dunedin, he said.
Both people were flown by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital, he said.
St John received a call to the scene near Nithdale Rd at about 5pm, he said.
Police were also at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the road would be closed while contractors dealt with spilled oil.
