Case referred to coroner

Police investigating the death of a man found near an intersection in Invercargill on Sunday have referred the case to the coroner.

Quinn David McIntyre, 42, was located near the intersection of Sydney and St Andrew Sts on Sunday about 9.30am.

A postmortem was completed yesterday with the findings referred to the coroner.

Police said his death was not being treated as suspicious.

Mr McIntyre’s family have asked for privacy.
