Dunedin Technical has streaked ahead after one full round of the women's southern premier league.
The side has won all five of its games, scoring 40 goals and conceding just two.
That record was helped along by a 17-0 win over Otago University 2nds and an 8-0 win over the Queenstown Rovers.
Unsurprisingly, it also has the league's top three goal-scorers.
Ruby Anderson leads the way with 13, while Southern United players Emily Morison and Mikayla Gray have scored nine and six respectively.
Otago University's Britneylee Nicholson has also scored six, while Queenstown's Nieve Collin rounds out the top five with five.
Beneath Dunedin Tech, the competition becomes more even.
University and Queenstown Rovers are both on nine points and each has a goal difference of plus-four.
Roslyn Wakari and Green Island are both on six with two wins each, while University 2nds has battled and remains winless.
The second round begins tomorrow with Roslyn Wakari hosting Dunedin Tech at Ellis Park and Green Island playing University at the Caledonian Ground.
On Sunday, University 2nds plays Queenstown Rovers at the Caledonian Ground.
Queenstown's Nieve Collin has been selected for the New Zealand secondary schools under-15 side team to travel to Australia.
Tobin Wilson, also of Queenstown, was chosen as a reserve for the boys team.
