The Melbourne Storm won their fourth of five matches yesterday to start the National Rugby League season, beating Penrith 25-20 to remain in first place and level with the Brisbane Broncos on points.
In another match on Sunday, Newcastle broke a three-match losing streak with a 24-20 win over Cronulla.
Canterbury fullback Ben Barba scored three tries to help the Bulldogs recover from a 14-0 deficit to beat Parramatta 34-14.
Gold Coast captain Scott Prince also orchestrated a comeback as the Titans beat Wests Tigers 20-14, also after trailing 14-0. The Titans trailed following tries from Simon Dwyer and Chris Heighington, before William Zillman scored two quick tries just before halftime.
Prince scored a solo try in the 73rd minute to level the match and set up Mark Minichiello in the final minute to give the Titans the win.
Tigers coach Tim Sheens was disappointed that his side let Prince score so easily.
"We should have kept Prince to the sideline instead of letting him run around under the posts," said Sheens. "We said all week we don't take the dummy from Scott Prince, we talked and talked and talked about it. No wonder coaches don't have hair or they go grey."
Manly beat the New Zealand Warriors 20-10, while two tries from winger Dale Copley gave Brisbane a 24-6 win over the Sydney Roosters.
North Queensland won back-to-back games for the first time in nearly two years with a 26-18 victory over Canberra.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs play St George Illawarra tonight to close out the sixth round. A win would leave the Dragons level with the Broncos and Storm.
