The hot run of form shown by New Zealand curlers at the World Men's Championship in Switzerland earlier this month has been continued by their over-50 compatriots at the World Senior Curling Championships in Denmark.
The New Zealand senior men are unbeaten after four rounds and sit joint top of their group with Canada, while the senior women have won three of their first four games and are equal second in their pool.
After a first-up loss to Sweden, Wendy Becker's women have beaten the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy.
Their three wins are already their best result at this level, and they still have two pool matches to play.
The senior men had a memorable first day of the tournament, recording the first win over a Scotland team by a New Zealand side at any world championship.
They need only one win from their last two games, against Japan and Canada, to ensure a top-two finish and a guaranteed play-off berth.
