Chancellor Cullen won a heat in 1.59 for the mobile mile.
He ran the last 800m in 55.9 and the final 400m in 26.5 to beat his stablemate Midnight Dylan (1.59.7) by three-quarters of a length.
Barron won the other 2yr-old heat with Franco Hemmingway, who recorded 2.02.4, coming home the last 800m in a dashing 56.4, the final 400m in 26.4.
Chancellor Cullen is a son of Christian Cullen and Nivea Franco (four wins).
