The Wingatui trainer had never trained a double before Friday's meeting at Omakau, but his treble on Friday was swiftly followed by yet another treble at Cromwell yesterday.
This time, it was the turn of Baranoo to join its stablemates as a race winner, showing plenty of fight after being tackled on the turn.
It also ensures owner Marten Dijkstra, an equine dentist from the Central Districts, has a 100% record with Tyler.
Tyler was able to give Dijkstra, who has been in New Zealand for 20 years after emigrating from his native Holland, his first winner with Lady Jessica at Gore earlier this month.
Dijkstra took a shine to Baranoo, a son of King Of Roses, when he visited Green Acres Stud a year ago, and then placed the 4yr-old with Tyler about five months ago.
Tyler's other two successes came with Omakau winner Popp 'N Lindauer and Alitron, which pulled away to win the rating 65 1400m.
Tyler has six horses in work but said he had room for about 12 more at his Wingatui stables.
Court No Fear is a more recent arrival to Sally McKay's Ascot Park stables but he has ended up a maiden winner over 2030m, more out of necessity than anything, McKay said.‘‘Brian Court gave it to me at this meeting in December,'' McKay said.
‘‘I quite liked him but I didn't think he would end up being an out and out stayer.
‘‘I thought he would need ground but being a 3yr-old, I just thought he would be a bit weak for 2000m.
‘‘Down south we don't have any races over a mile so he has had to go 2000m.''
Court No Fear races under the Tri Code Syndicate banner, a syndicate that has had success in all three codes now.
McKay expects more from the son of Showcasing when the 2016-17 season rolls around.
‘‘He's working it out and really enjoying his racing now. As you can see, he's pretty laid-back - he drops to the rear and he's got a pretty good finish.
‘‘I think he will be a nice 4yr-old so we won't do much more with him and next season, I think he'll improve a ton.''
Riverton trainer Stephen Blair-Edie took pleasure out of Come Fly With Me's win in the rating 85 2030m.
The 5yr-old is a daughter of St Reims, a son of legendary Cambridge Stud stallion Zabeel.
‘‘It was her day today and it was nice to beat a Zabeel [the second-placed Revelator] - she's a poor man's Zabeel,'' Blair-Edie said.
Come Fly With Me does not like too much cut out of the ground, keeping her wins to good and dead tracks, and Blair-Edie will hope for similar track conditions when he takes the mare to Wingatui next week.
