Sunnivue son has firmed in favour for Forbury Park tonight with the scratching of Ants from the main trot.

Trainer Graeme Anderson has opted to start Ants, winner of his last two starts, at Winton on Sunday.

"I felt I would stay with the bigger track at this stage. He went well when he won at Wyndham at his last start," Anderson said.

Ants will be accompanied south by last-start winner Elegant Jay and both horses will be driven by Tony Stratford.

Andrew Suddaby, who drove Ants at Wyndham is required for Daisy Belle, whom he drove to win at Invercargill last Saturday.

Sunnivue Son has been racing soundly and he was a nine and a-half length winner over 2700m at Forbury Park on April 24.

He won a trial at Forbury Park on Tuesday.

Camsplace Dexter, another trial winner on Tuesday, has been scratched tonight after getting down on his hind fetlocks.

"He was bleeding after his trial and he wasn't that happy this morning," Ali Malcolmson, his trainer, said.

"I have got a new pair of bumper boots for him."

Nathan Williamson has been engaged for Brigadier Scott in the race for junior drivers at Winton. Brigadier Scott, winner of two of his three starts, has been driven in his wins by Mark Jones and Peter Ferguson.
