The Highlanders are playing a pre-season game in Alexandra.
In what is a first for the town, the Highlanders will take on the Waratahs on February 1, two weeks before the season starts.
The Highlanders have arranged the match along with the Central Otago District Council and Breen Construction. The game will be played at Molyneux Park with the game set to kick off at 6pm.
