The team has assembled, and every team of course needs a uniform.

The Highlanders got their uniform yesterday, with equipment supplier Adidas revealing the new jersey to be worn by the team over the next couple of years.

The home jersey is much the same as previous editions, with a dominant blue colour and some purple and yellow thrown in.

The away jersey is a very striking green and differs considerably from the previous away jersey which was a mixture of white and green.

There is also a training jersey which will be worn by the side on week days. The training jersey will get a workout when the team switches into on-field training on Monday for the next three weeks.

The team will work on its new training grounds at Logan Park, which are opposite Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The new training grounds, have lights installed and are also irrigated.

All five New Zealand teams revealed their new playing jerseys yesterday.
