Otago halfback Abigail Paton will make her Super Rugby Aupiki debut for Matatū off the bench during their clash against the Hurricanes Poua on Sunday.
Paton, who debuted for the United States earlier this year, will replace fellow Otago No 9 Maia Joseph at some stage. Otago flanker Sarah Jones is also on the bench.
Otago stalwart Tegan Willocks (nee Hollows) gets the nod at hooker to debut for the Poua against her old side, and Otago captain Green Muir starts at No 8 for the Hurricanes. Maddie Flutey will come off the bench for Chiefs Manawa against the Blues. — Allied Media
