Shield on show

Young Upper Clutha Rugby players lined up at Placemakers yesterday to examine an historic piece of New Zealand Rugby hardware — the Ranfurly Shield.Otago halfback Kurt Hammer will be on the field, at the Wanaka showgrounds today to help ensure the shield stays in the province, and Upper Clutha hooker Jojo King (12) will be on the sideline hoping Thames Valley, or the Swamp Foxes as they are known, do not take advantage of what are expected to be wet conditions.
