Auckland-Waitakere did the double last night, winning both the national under-19 and under-21 titles at the expense of southern teams in finals at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin last night.
University-Albion A secured second-round honours after it convincingly beat Southern A 66-52 in the Dunedin premier competition played at the Edgar Centre on Saturday.
Phys Ed A versus University-Albion A was billed as the game of the weekend's Dunedin premier club competition round, but it was a one-sided and error-ridden affair that resulted in Uni-Albion winning 61-32.
