Long-standing family farm ownership was recognised recently at the New Zealand Century Farm and Station Awards in Lawrence.
The event recognises families who have owned the same farm for a century or longer. Thirty families, from throughout New Zealand, received awards this year.
It was the 10th year the awards had been held and they kept growing, awards committee chairman Symon Howard said.
