Meridian Energy has appointed its group strategy manager Rory Blundell to the newly-created role of general manager, strategy and portfolio.
Mr Blundell has more than 20 years’ electricity sector experience, having previously held numerous senior and executive management positions in the industry.
Acting strategy and portfolio general manager Chris Ewers will now take up a new position as electricity security manager.
