Fundraiser

Things liven up at Otago Museum on Sunday with a Koryu martial arts demonstration from the Seishinkan Society.

See hand-to-hand, samurai sword and Japanese halberd fighting styles at 1.30pm in the atrium.

Colour up

Gallery De Novo celebrates its fourth anniversary from tomorrow with its annual "Works Exhibition", featuring new works by some of the gallery's leading artists, including Philip Maxwell, Graham Tait, Angela Burns, Jill Perrott, Philip Beadle, Marilynn Webb, Frank Gordon, Jo St Baker, Brian McCraken and Nic Dempster.

"Works Exhibition" opens at 5pm tomorrow and runs until July 31.

Talent scouts

The Gang Show is on at the Mayfair Theatre daily at 7.30pm until Saturday, with a 2pm matinee also on Saturday.
