Kylie Minogue's most spectacular and critically acclaimed show to date, Kylie X 2008, did not disappoint when the pint-sized pop star took to the stage at Auckland's Vector Arena last night.

It was Minogue's first performance in New Zealand, and she wowed the sell-out crowd in the first of a two -night tour.

The massive NZ$24 million production has already travelled to 21 countries across Europe, South America and Asia.

Thousands of fans packed into Vector Arena to enjoy the two and a half hour spectacular show -- a massive production with huge backdrop projections and numerous costume changes from Minogue's dazzling Jean Paul Gaultier wardrobe.

She had an energetic group of dancers working the stage alongside her in combination with the band which kept the crowd on their toes.

Fans of all ages clapped and swung their arms to classics like I Should Be So Lucky, Step Back In Time, Spinning Around, Better the Devil You Know, Can't Get You Out Of My Head and Love At First Sight, along with new songs from her latest album 'X'.

It's hard to believe this was Minogue's first show in New Zealand, and by the look of the smile on her face on stage, hopefully it won't be her last.
