THE 125 Years of Inspiring St Hilda’s Women Panel Discussion at 5pm on Saturday, March 20 has been kindly sponsored by Craigs Investment Partners (Chris Timms and Peter McIntyre), and Mosgiel New World. The panel features seven St Hilda’s Old Girls.

 

Catherine Fitzgerald: ONZM, founded Blueskin Films in 2002, producing the acclaimed One Thousand Ropes, The Orator, and Bellbird amongst features, shorts and documentaries which have featured worldwide. Chair of the NZ Film Festival Trust and Playmarket, founding Trust member of the Screen Womens’ Action Group, founding Chair of WIFT NZ, NZ Film Commission Board, the Board of the Dunedin College of Education, and SPADA.

 

 

 

Bridgette Jackson: Bridgette Jackson is the Founder of Equal Exes. She is an experienced entrepreneur, with many years in the women’s health space. Bridgette is a Divorce and Settlement expert, a CDC certified Divorce/Separation Coach, a qualified lawyer, has a post-graduate dispute resolution qualification, and is a certified mediator. Bridgette has appeared in various podcasts and publications, and is a regular on the Café, AM Show, and Magic Talk radio.

 

 

 

Carrie Hobson: Co-founded Hobson Leavy Limited, a retained executive search firm based in Auckland, with a focus on executive level appointments across all sectors in New Zealand. Over 25 years corporate experience, initially in banking and finance and latterly in executive search, holding senior positions in corporate banking with major banks in New Zealand and the United States. Has held directorships in both private and public sectors.

 

 

 

Katherine Rich: Attended St Hilda’s from 1980-1985. After working in marketing and management roles she was elected to the House of Representatives in 1999 and was a Member of Parliament for nine years. She is Chief Executive for the Food and Grocery Council, the industry body for New Zealand consumer products manufacturers, a member of the board of Barnardos NZ and Chair of the Parliamentary Education Trust.

 

 

 

Dr Margo Barton: Professor, Academic Leader for Fashion, Te Maru Pūmanawa, College of Creative Practice and Enterprise at Otago Polytechnic, teaching across a range of courses on the undergraduate and post graduate programmes in the School of Design. Creative Director and Co-Chair of iD Dunedin Fashion, including the iD International Emerging Designer Awards; founder of the Contemporary Fashion Practices online fashion symposium exhibition; board member of the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes.

 

 

 

Lucy Strack: Attended St Hilda’s from 2001-2007, always loving sport, but captivated by rowing. Lucy was selected into the NZ U21 Rowing squad in 2007, the NZ University squad in 2008, the NZ Youth Cup squad in 2009, and competed at the U23 World Championships in Belarus. She had five years in the New Zealand rowing team, qualifying her boat for the London Olympics, but injury forced her out. Lucy has worked in digital marketing, sales, and sports sponsorship and promotion.

 

 

 

Panel Discussion hosted by MC, Sarah Perriam: A leading voice in New Zealand agriculture, Sarah is both a host of the popular show Sarah's Country and a businesswoman with her production agency, Perriam Media, with a team of seven and a video and radio studio in Canterbury. Perriam Media is based at Tai Tapu in Canterbury, and in the UK, producing visual podcast series for their clients to have solution-led marketing and thought leadership communication.
