Ask a Chef reveals the secrets of those superb dishes you ate in cafes and restaurants and wanted to try yourself.

 

Strictly Coffee's energy balls

Ingredients

1 cup dates
1 cup dried apricots
1 cup raisins
1 cup almonds
1 Tbsp dark cocoa
1 Tbsp olive oil
fine coconut for rolling

 

Method

Blitz all ingredients except coconut until it is the desired texture.

Roll into balls. Roll in coconut.

Best kept chilled. They keep for up to a week.
