What smell do you find irresistible?
Nature; Te Moana Nui a Kiwa (Pacific Ocean); open deserts of the Middle East; the mountains, forests and rivers of Japan; and, the healthy environs of Aotearoa New Zealand.
What is your least favourite thing about humanity?
Zero tolerance, demonisation for doing wrong, the lack of applying wise compassion when big problems are easily fixed when they are small. Kiwis are generous, persistent, full of common sense.
What is one strong childhood memory?
Life was full of whanau, family and friends enjoying healthy adventures together; opportunities to learn and live full of dreams; all adults were aunties, uncles or nans and grandpas and everyone was our cuz.
What is your message?
Keep it simple and sincere, sharing faith, hope and love for all people. Work with wise compassion and persistent courage for a healthy new norm. Talk before you txt, be grateful and remember the dignity is in the person not their lifestyle. Find the good and you will be one of the majority helping light the flame of peace. Always be available to speak one-on-one to interested people. Always share you heart.
If you were going to an island and could take only three things, what would they be and why?
Whanau, family and friends, because together we have a healthy, wealthy, wise future. Whanau, family and friends embody the physical and spiritual essence of faith, hope and love.
