The magic of make-up is evident in these before and after pictures taken of me backstage tonight at the iD Dunedin Fashion Show.
Aliana McDaniel, using Revlon, created a smoky eye and red lipstick perfect for the front row of any fashion spectacle.
Darryl McNamara and his Aart on St Andrew crew then gave me one of the nine model looks for the show - a twist on a braided up 'do.
Needless to say, I'm much more ready to mingle with the beautiful people than when I arrived.
It's been a hectic week for those backstage, including 22 make-up artists and 12 hair stylists.
Tired but loving their involvement in iD, they have spent hours working on more than 60 models as well as special guests.
Tonight their work will be admired, along with the clothes, by 1600 people in the Dunedin Railway Station.
Bring on the bubbly!
