A woman was arrested after 18 bags of an "unknown purple crystalline substance" were found in her vehicle in Dunedin yesterday.
Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond, of Dunedin, said police were patrolling in Shore St at 5am when they came across two people inside a parked vehicle.
After finding a knife on the passenger side of the vehicle, police searched the car and found a meth pipe, scales, a customer list and 18 snap-lock bags containing 35g of the substance.
A 32-year-old woman will appear in court next week on a charge of possessing drugs.
The other occupant of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man, was warned for having the knife in his possession.
