Spreading the Christmas cheer through Christmas cakes are (from left) Cooke Howlison managing director John Marsh, Southern District Health Board care co-ordination centre administration officer Dana White, SDHB ward supervisor Sue Dyer and SDHB head chef Mike Steward.

Some 550 cakes, made by Centre City New World, were delivered across the Otago region on Monday by Cooke Howlison and distributed by Age Concern Otago, Meals on Wheels in Balclutha, St Barnabas and Holmdene Rest Home in Balclutha.

Cooke Howlison and the Marsh Family Charitable Trust have been donating Christmas cakes each year for the past 10 years.
