Dunedin City Council chief executive Sandy Graham had a mishap involving an electric scooter and broke her foot.

The city council confirmed the incident yesterday and said she had returned to the office after a couple of days’ sick leave.

The council did not provide further details about the incident.

It was understood Ms Graham attended the South Dunedin Street Festival on Saturday wearing a moon boot and used a knee scooter.
