An Air New Zealand flight has been cancelled in Dunedin today due to an air conditioning issue.
An Air New Zealand spokeswoman said flight NZ5054, which was scheduled to leave Dunedin for Christchurch at 2pm was cancelled due to an engineering issue.
The 65 customers booked to travel on the flight would be accommodated on alternate services, she said.
A passenger, who did not want to be named, said the safety briefing was given on the plane before passengers were told of a problem with the air conditioning system.
After disembarking, the passenger joined a long queue to rebook on an 8pm flight tonight.
Many passengers in the queue were concerned about missing connections to international flights, the passenger said.
