Heritage roses in the Northern Cemetery

When families and buildings are lost to time, the roses remain.

Heritage roses, often found in graveyards, old farm sites, along fences and overgrown paddocks, often outlast the gardeners who planted them.

Yesterday, the hardy flowers were in full bloom in Dunedin Northern Cemetery.
