Police have arrested a man in connection with the assault of a male patron at a Dunedin bar last month.
Detective John MacDade said the 22-year-old man would appear in the Dunedin District Court on Friday, charged with injuring by an unlawful act.
The 23-year-old victim, who had titanium plates inserted in his jaw, appeared in Saturday's Otago Daily Times about the incident, which occurred at Octagon bar Innocent Bystander, on September 23.
