Playground design ideas wanted

The call has gone out for ideas about how South Dunedin’s Bathgate Park playground should be redesigned.

The South Dunedin Community Network is running an online survey asking people what they would like to change about the park or what should be added.

The survey is expected to help the playground designers shape an upgrade for the Dunedin City Council.

Bubble wrap and sideline heckler free zone. A roped off area, a pile of wooden pallets, hammers, nails, hand saws and boxes of matches......doing is learning.
Construction techniques, communication, diplomacy and team building, physics, engineering, demolition, the triangle of fire, health and safety.....would make a great TV series.....
