Pupils and teachers have been learning songs in their own schools and met over the past two days to sing and play together. The event has an emphasis on fun and communal music-making.
Event co-organiser Alison Caldwell said the event, now in its fifth year, had attracted more than 1000 children from 45 schools in the Dunedin area. She was delighted the event continued to attract big numbers, ensuring a place in the local schools' music curriculum.
