Rig prepared for New Year party

The stage is set for a festive celebration in the Octagon as Dunedin prepares to ring in the new year.

Stephen Kilroy was busy rigging a lighting truss on the stage yesterday morning for tonight’s centre city revelry.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to welcome 2020 in style, on what is expected to be a warm and clear night.
