Police this afternoon have been called to yet another suspected robbery at a Dunedin dairy.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the Dundas Corner Dairy in North Dunedin at 4.10pm today.

There was a heavy police presence at the dairy and three cars were seen rushing past the dairy in Dundas St towards Leith St.

A woman who spoke to the "very shaken" dairy owner said a masked man had entered the store and tried to rob it before fleeing on foot.
