Two injured in Glen crash

Emergency services attend a two-car crash at the Glen which left two people with moderate injuries.

A police spokeswoman said they were called at 2.52pm yesterday to the collision and diversions were in place in South Rd at the Glen in Dunedin.

St John spokeswoman Chrissy Hamilton said two people suffered  moderate injuries and were taken to Dunedin Hospital.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand shift manager Ian Littlejohn said crews from Willowbank and Dunedin Central responded after multiple calls.

They assisted ambulance officers in removing a patient from each vehicle after what was believed to be a "light impact" crash, he said.
