Two people were injured, one critically, in a two-car crash in Mosgiel yesterday afternoon.
A person in one of the cars was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters using the jaws of life.
Police were alerted to the Braemar St crash at 3.42pm, a spokeswoman said.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said a female patient was critically injured. Another person had moderate injuries. Both were taken to Dunedin Hospital.
